What is our Summer Headstart program?
Our Summer Headstart courses are designed to prepare students for the academic year ahead.
We will start by recapping key learning from the previous year offering the vital opportunity for memory consolidation. Then we follow this with a thorough preparation of some of the key topics that will be learnt next year. By not only keeping our tutees on top of their studies throughout the summer, but also giving them a leg up on their peers for the start of the year, they are sure to hit the ground running in September.
Information
- 10 hours of teaching recommended, either one 2-hour sessions or two 1-hour sessions a week
- Duration: 5 weeks (flexible around holidays)
- Format: 1-1 online, 1-1 in person available in Shrewsbury (depends on specific location)
- Progress: initial and final at-home assessment used to showcase improvement
- Resources: all notes, worksheets and practise questions are provided
